These earrings carry their own quiet story. Each pair is cut and shaped in my St Austell workshop from patinated copper, layered with pierced brass craters that are then soldered in place. The stamped markings and heat patina mimic the soft irregularities of the moon’s surface — a mix of texture, depth and gentle chaos created through fire and handwork.
The copper develops those rich, shifting colours only heat can bring, while the brass craters add a bright, lightly hammered contrast. No two pairs are ever quite the same — each one finds its own rhythm as the patina blooms and the markings settle.
Fitted with simple copper ear wires and finished with an anti-tarnish treatment to help protect the warmth of the metal.
