Ceramicist Jana Gilfillan brings Gilliflower Pottery to Seafolk for a week, with a collection of her wonderfully distinctive hand-built ceramics.
Jana’s work is full of character, texture and personality, with each piece bearing the marks of the making process. Her ceramics celebrate the imperfect and individual qualities of handmade objects, creating pieces that feel tactile, expressive and completely their own.
Inspired by the natural world and the Cornish landscape, Jana combines form, surface and detail to create work that invites a closer look — pieces to pick up, turn over, live with and treasure.
Discover Gilliflower Pottery at Seafolk from 31 July–6 August.

Step into Seafolk for a wonderfully atmospheric, Dickensian-inspired Christmas.
For six weeks, the gallery will be transformed into a cosy festive emporium, filled with a specially curated collection of work by Cornish artists and makers — ceramics, paintings, prints, textiles, glass, wood, jewellery and beautiful objects to treasure.
Expect greenery, rich colour, twinkling lights, old-fashioned decorations and shelves filled with extraordinary handmade pieces — nostalgic, abundant and full of Christmas magic.
With late-night Fridays, visiting makers, mulled wine and plenty of festive cheer.
A Christmas shopping experience you won't forget.
