A working jewellery studio and curated gallery in Par, Cornwall, between Fowey and Charlestown.
Seafolk is home to my contemporary jewellery and metalwork, alongside an ever-changing programme of work by invited Cornish artists and makers. Guest artists and makers arrive every Friday from 12pm.
Eclectic, atmospheric and a little unexpected, Seafolk is deliberately different from a conventional gallery. Alongside paintings, ceramics, print, textiles and contemporary craft, you’ll find the Talking Wall — an evolving collection of artists’ sketches, found objects, curiosities, tools and ephemera, offering a glimpse into the things that spark ideas and feed the creative process.
At the heart of Seafolk is a working studio, where I create my jewellery and metalwork by hand in copper, brass and nickel silver.
Come in, have a browse, discover something unexpected, see where the jewellery is made — and perhaps find a piece you’ll want to take home.

Resident Maker at Seafolk
BELINDA LATIMER
RESIDENT MAKER · SEAFOLK
Jeweller and metalsmith Belinda Latimer is the resident maker at Seafolk, creating her work in the metal studio at the back of the gallery.
Belinda’s jewellery is inspired by the Cornish coast, landscape and folklore, working predominantly in copper, brass and nickel silver. Each piece is individually made using traditional metalworking techniques including embossing, etching, piercing, stamping and patination.
Alongside her jewellery, you’ll find Belinda’s larger metalwork and Fragments of What Remains pieces, as well as a changing selection of her paintings and prints.
The studio is very much part of Seafolk — so when you visit, you’ll often find Belinda at the bench, with new pieces and ideas taking shape.

SARAH SULLIVAN CERAMICS
4–10 September
Sarah Sullivan creates beautifully tactile ceramics from RED Pottery and Gallery in Redruth.
Her thrown vessels are carved using a stripping tool, creating flowing curves and rhythmic patterns across the surface. Finished with dolomite glaze, slips, underglazes and oxides, these are pots made to be handled as well as admired.
Alongside her vessels, Sarah creates slab- and coil-built Serenity Heads — meditative sculptural figures, pared back to their essential forms.
Influenced by ancient pottery, studio pottery pioneers, Japanese and Scandinavian design, wood carving, stones and shells, Sarah sees the two sides of her practice as inseparable:
“One thing exists because of, and directs, the other.”
